Urinary tract infection

The urinary tract consists of  kidneys, left and right ureters, bladder and urinary canal. Urine is created in the kidneys, from there it descends through the ureters to the bladder, where it collects to a certain amount and is then thrown out through the urethra.

Urinary tract infections can be frequent and persistent in humans. The following symptoms indicate that there is an infection in the urinary tract: the urge to urinate but it is not possible to urinate, burning and pain when urinating, too frequent urination, very cloudy and extremely dark urine, unpleasant odor, and even temperature.

Women are much more susceptible to these infections than men, although they as well as children, can encounter urinary problems. Women are more susceptible, because their anal opening is much closer to the opening through which urine is expelled, so bacteria can be transferred more easily. And the urethra is shorter in women than in men, so bacteria can reach the bladder more easily.

In 80 percent of cases the causative agent of urinary infection is the bacterium Escherichia coli. Other bacteria such as proteus mirabilis, streptococci, staphylococci and enterococci are less common causative agents. When these bacteria multiply too much, they cause inflammation.

If the infection is not treated, the bacteria can return again and again, even for years. They can easily reach the kidneys and cause their damage. This means that lasting consequences can also remain.

People who have diabetes, weak immunity and kidney sand are more prone to these infections. Also, pregnant women belong to the risk group because pregnancy hormones are known to disrupt the urinary tract ratio of good and bad bacteria.

The herbal preparation UROLEX works against bacteria that cause urinary infections – Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella, Streptococcus. Both men and women can use it. UROLEX prevents Escherichia coli from adhering to the mucous membrane of the urinary tract and prevents infection. Encourages urination so Escherichia coli is expelled from the urinary tract. It acts against inflammation and reduces pain during urinary infection. Also increases the urinary tract resistance which prevents the infection from returning after a while.
